I have gone aboooove and beyond to get you honey’s a blog post. I’ve been really busy working *cough* .. and drinking cocktails and frying my buns in the sun… aaaand eating a load of Easter eggs. Anyway, short and sweet look book shot by my girl Georgia Petrou on film. I pimped out my baker-boy hat with my fave 80’s YSL brooch, slung a monochrome jacket (by my new boutique store find – AOC Edit) over a Carhartt dungarees and thew on on some dirty air forces. But I think it works. I’ll let the people decide.

Happy Tuesday!! I grace you with a blog post right on time.. Here is a look I wore earlier in the week when attending some meetings . Meetings such as Depop in particular…. we may have a very exciting collab coming soon with them so keep your eyes peeled šŸ˜‰ Anyway this magnificently body hugging, snakey shirt is from my fave Maniere De Voir. I’m always a bit conscious wearing skirts – especially tight skirts .. as I feel like my whole persona changes from someone who slops across the stress toĀ an ostrich with something stuck up it’s bum. This skirt has a completely different vibe though with it’s tough, edgy look.mdmd3

My top tip – always rough up a skirt with a band tee to make it look more casual! Here’s me with my trusty iron maiden home made crop that I seem to always be wearing…

md4I’ve had these shoes for about 5 years! Some vintage All Saint right here… sandals in summer are a big no no for me but I can deal with these as they have the booty look.
md6And finally here is my couture’d up head band. This scarf print head band is from h&m but blinged up of course with my chanel brooch. Brooch’s make everything fab!!! Invest in a good brooch girls!!!

On Thursday evening we attended the wonderful event Jog On To Cancer – hosted by James Ingham of the Daily Star at Kensington Roof Gardens. We all had a lovely night and raised a lot of money for a great cause.

For this formal event I wore a classy co-ord from Rare London. What stood out for me was the polo neck and ruchedĀ skirt making an almost ‘hoochy’ outfit that little bit more classy. If you have legs AND belly out I would definitely recommend a polo neck to break it up and look a bit smarter. The lycra was also very flattering! I added some strappy, leather cage heels and then couture’d the outfit up with a Chanel brooch.
