Following from Monday’s post here is another look including shoes from the FLAWLESS Terry De Havilland. These gorgeous goldies are from his actual couture collection online. They are the heel form of my gold wedges. Honestly the detail on these shoes are insane. I’m also wearing a jumper from Fan Club Clothing – we all know how perfect this jumper is for me. My love affair with cowboys jus’ keeps growing.

Hey babes’, I’ve had to come to terms lately with the fact that I’m only going to be able to post when I’m able to. If that makes any sense at all – haha. Everything is crazy at the moment filming a brand new TV show for a pretty big channel and filming is everyday! By the time I grab my blogging camera these days, it’s always bloooody dark outside. Anyway, I’ve found two AMAZING new brands that I love. The first being Terry De Havilland. His footwear is remarkable and tick all three of the most important boxes – UNIQUE, MAJOR HIGH QUALITY AND ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE! I’m serious. If you keep up with my instagram, I shared a photo of my TDH gold wedges that I wore in Barcelona… I walked around the city in them all day with no hassle. This shoe collection is so beautiful and each pair are so insanely individual I had to have them all!! The shoes I’m wearing in this post is Terry De Havilland’s collection with ASOS (see – even asos know!). I also discovered a brand called Fan Club Clothing. They produce really cute slogan stuff but not ya basic slogans! It’s all pretty retro (which is perfect for moi) and american themed.  Full details of this look is at the bottom of the post!maccheesemacandcheese7macandcheese8macandcheese1macandcheese6macandcheese5macandcheese4macandcheese2Shades – VOW London, Tee – Fan Club Clothing, Skirt – Topshop, Shoes – Terry De Havilland X asos, Choker – Zara.

So, I’m going to be completely honest – this blog would be boring if I pretended everything was perfect all the time BUT I was a LITTLE disappointed at some of the outfit decisions this year at the Golden Globes. These gorgeous ladies just didn’t seem flaunt it as much as usual in my opinion – I felt like a lot of the celebs played it super safe… maybe they’re still feeling a little lazy from Christmas. However – there were some pleasant decisions that gave me dress envy! By the way – there will be NO worst dressed list – I may be stylishly honest but I DO NOT pit women against other women. ‘Worst dressed lists’ need to be abolished from every magazine and online publication.

These are my top 3!

Coincidentally, my favourite outfits this year are ALL in the pink palette! Maybe I’m feeling some kinda girly way but I just feel like these ladies actually made a real statement and took some risks.goldenglobestop3Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett, Kate Bosworth

Kate Hudson got it all out and played a tough game in a VERY nude Michael Kor’s number – this colour is SO hard to pull off as it has the capability of completely drowning you out – especially as a white girl. And she manages to pull it off without having a major orange spray tan. People tend to over-compensate on the tan when wearing nude numbers like this in order to stand out. Cate Blanchett blew me away in this 1920’s style, PINK PINK PINK (the best pink i’ve ever seen actually) Givenchy Haute Couture frock. This dress is absolutely beautiful, full of detail and looks like it costs a million dollars. Definitely the most couture of the Golden Globes. And Kate Bosworth was another one of my firm favourites in this Dolce&Gabanna floor length gown. It fits her like a glove and compliments her tiny frame. The structure of the dress is incredible along with the jewel finish. I would kill for this dress. She looks absolutely on point – I don’t know how anyone would’t love this dress!

The Neutral Palette Gang!

These ladies didn’t quite make my top 3 but I still appreciated these beautiful looks. I’m a massive fan of Rosie HW and as usual, she slays in this vintage style, Atelier Versace dress. It is truly tasteful. I appreciate her neat hair and makeup choice that lets the dress do the talking. I’m not particularly familiar with Brie Larson but I think her Calvin Klein dress is stunning and extremely flattering – I do however feel like her she should have done an up-do hair wise. A slick ponytail or bun would have given her a bit of edge with such a form-fitting dress. Floor length, glittering gowns have the danger of looking ‘prom day’ without the right hair and makeup. Rooney Mara also impressed me with her fragile, detailed, Alexander Mcqueen frock. I love the vintage-rag doll look that she’s gone for. Her vampy hair and makeup compliment the dress like a treat.

Admittedly, I have a little crush on Lily James. Even though she did beat me to the role of Cinderella – But we’ll forgive her as she seems like a really cool girl. I think this white Marchesa gown looks perfect on her – still keeping to her fairytale theme but she looks sexy at the same time with the sheerness of the gown and her smokey makeup. Good choice girl!

The Red Ladies

Jennifer Lawrence, Amber Heard, Zendaya ColemangoldenglobesredThese aren’t my favourite dresses but these ladies deserve a mention! Jennifer Lawrence who i’m a huge fan off played it safe in this cut-out Dior dress. I appreciate the minimal/modern look of the dress but what brought it to life was the large chain necklace! Always trust an accessory! Amber Heard also looked stunning as usual in this pretty Gucci Couture frock. She almost looked royal! I felt like the dress was actually more of a copper colour than red – very unusual. Zendaya who always kills it for me did resemble the flamenco dancer emoji a tiny bit but she still slayed!! The colour looked beautiful against her complexion and the deep V neck added that sexy touch for her. She looked incredible.

UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!

I feel as though I begin almost every post trying to justify myself as to why I’m late with my posts! Excuse me or hate me for it – I’ve finally finished radio tour, signing tour AND headline tour! HOORAY and BOO (as I had such a good ol’ time). As I finished headline tour the night before London Fashion Week began I made a sensible decision to just completely eliminate myself and become invisible from this season’s fashion events … which include all the shows and parties of course. Call me crazy if you want. Fashion week is just A LOT of effort. With at least 3 shows a day and all the madness in between; you need dayyyyys of outfit planning, transport planning, makeup planning… the list goes on. You can’t do Fashion Week half hearted. However – I didn’t slip out of the fashion fiasco that easy. Of course I had to attend the Sorapol show. I made allowance for this one show as my dear friend Daniel Lismore is the creative director and founder of the flamboyant brand – and because the shows are always simply incredible. This current show definitely did not disappoint. I’ve attached pictures straight from the #FROW of the SS16 Sorapol show.betsy-blue-english-lfw-s-s-2016-sorapol-catwalk-show-arrivals-london-september-2015_3

Lets all appreciate my gorgeous, hand crafted Sorapol jacket that I teamed with my own personal vintage skirt (courtesy of a 13 year old Betsy-Blue). Oh .. and my favourite Gucci platforms.

At the weekend we (Only The Young) played the prestigious G-A-Y- (Heaven) in London and it was seriously so, so good. It was definitely an excuse to get a cool outfit and I had my eye on the new Moschino string collection for a while. I opted for the string crop top and paired it with an amazing THREE PIECE (yes, not two piece but a THREE piece.. *drools*) suit from  ZDDZ London. Joey Bevan (@joeybevan) styled my bottom half with the ZDDZ suit and kick asssss boots from Pretty Little Thing. Oh and some bangles and angelic earrings from Orska UK which I love. Anyone who knows me knows i’m obsessed with angel wings. Parisa also rocks some Hot Mess in these pics!!
